Online Resources for Kids

There is so much content out there we though we would make things easier. We have curated a list of online resources available for free online during lock down.
These will help your kids with their learning and prevent boredom. Check out these simple, secure and easy to use websites to make your learning and entertainment easier!

Tumble Resources

The wonderful team at TumbleBooks have given all New Zealand Libraries free access to their children's, teens, adults eBooks and eaudiobooks!

TumbleBooks’ databases are easy to use, and feature unlimited access from home!

TumbleBooks has databases in maths, audiobooks, teen and children’s books as well as an entire website dedicated to romance books

Children's Library

With books, puzzles, DVDs and digital resources as well as activities and services, the children’s library is here for children of all ages.

Business and Economics books

Waitaki District Libraries are here to help businesses - not just in the start up stage, but also to grow, diversify and prosper.

Waitaki District Libraries collaborates with lots of community groups in the Waitaki District - including Waitaki Community Mental Health and the Citizen's Advice Bureau.

The Oamaru Public Library offers a variety of collections and several very special collections.

The General Adult Collection is comprised of Fiction, Non Fiction, Large Print, Audio Visual, Graphic Novels, Magazines, Newspapers, Talking Books and DVDs.
