Waitaki District Libraries are here to help businesses - not just in the start up stage, but also to grow, diversify and prosper. We have a Business and Economics collection at the Oamaru Public Library which has been built to meet local needs with the help of local experts, including entrepreneurs, accountants, small and medium sized business owners, farmers, tourist operators, managers, CEOs, career specialists and project managers.
In addition to this, we can access, at minimal cost to you, a large network of libraries from across New Zealand - from government departments such as the Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment, AgResearch, ACC, Treasury and the Inland Revenue through to large co-ops such as Fonterra and businesses such as Lion. We also have access to information and resources from The Reserve Bank of New Zealand, the New Zealand Law Society and many research and development institutes and tertiary/university libraries, both here and abroad.
