Waitaki District Libraries are here to help businesses - not just in the start up stage, but also to grow, diversify and prosper.

Waitaki District Libraries collaborates with lots of community groups in the Waitaki District - including Waitaki Community Mental Health and the Citizen's Advice Bureau.

Waitaki District Libraries also offer online services and access points - from eBooks to eAudiobooks, Ancestry.com to academic level research databases, we hope there is enough here to keep you occupied for hours....

The Oamaru Public Library offers a variety of collections and several very special collections.

The General Adult Collection is comprised of Fiction, Non Fiction, Large Print, Audio Visual, Graphic Novels, Magazines, Newspapers, Talking Books and DVDs.

The purpose of a Friends of the Library is to support the libraries throughout the Waitaki District, to advocate for them and institute new initiatives and activities to serve their diverse communities.
