Museum Of Ordinary Things: Washing Day

Museum Of Ordinary Things: Washing Day

We are sorting out our washing collection and have put most of it on display in our temporary gallery. We want to make sure we have as much information about each of our washing related objects as possible: What is it? When was it made? How does it work? Where did the object come from? Who used it in the past? We also want to find out which of our washing objects are the most important. Washing is really a story about women's lives. Many washing stories are not recorded. Come and tell us your stories. Let us know what you think of this collection.
