Waitaki District Libraries are here to help businesses - and with the current pandemic crisis, we have acted quickly to provide a collection of resources that are responsive and directly address fallout from the crisis, including a collection of books that speak of radical changes to office life and offer answers in an uncertain economic environment: Business Book Reviews 

We also support business not only in the start up stage, but also to grow, diversify and prosper. We have a Business and Economics collection at the Oamaru Public Library which has been built to meet local needs with the help of local experts, including entrepreneurs, accountants, small and medium sized business owners, farmers, tourist operators, managers, CEOs, career specialists and project managers. In addition to this, we can access, at minimal cost to you, a large network of resources from across New Zealand - from government departments such as the Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment, AgResearch, ACC, Treasury and the Inland Revenue through to large co-ops such as Fonterra and businesses such as Lion. We also have access to information and resources from The Reserve Bank of New Zealand, the New Zealand Law Society and many research and development institutes and tertiary/university libraries, both here and abroad.
