Educational programmes led by Youth Librarian, Fiona Kerr are available by prior arrangement. The only day that the area is unavailable for bookings is Thursday mornings. Sessions can be tailored to suit the ages and interests of the group.
Possible activities include scavenger hunts, searching the library catalogue, ebook app demonstration, World Book database etc. The main focus of visits is time to explore the library and choose books to read.

Elizabeth King: Forrester Gallery, North Otago Museum, Waitaki District Archive
The wonderlab is our interactive education space designed for learning. The wonderlab features displays with changing themes and fun, hands-on activities offered in a creative setting. Situated downstairs at the Forrester Gallery, we offer spaces to explore, discover and learn. Or you can just hang out on the bean bags and admire the building. Galley, Museum and Archive Educator Elizabeth King works with Museum Curator Chloe Searle and Archivist Chris Meech to deliver our education programmes.
