Wind and Waves has grown out of David Elliot's fascination with the sea, weather, maps, and old books. An internationally recognised writer and illustrator, his characters, real and imagined, are inspired by his home in Port Chalmers, the Otago Harbour and our wild Otago coastline.

Usual opening times: Tuesday to Friday 10:00am - 4:00pm. Weekends and public holidays including Waitangi Day and Matariki 10:00am - 12:30pm. Closed Mondays (unless a public holiday).
