This exhibition explores issues of national identity and migration by ‘changing’ the status of iconic objects. In some works national commemorative coins are flattened into ‘coinscapes’ and in others coins are sawed, and passports constructed and reconstructed to create works which question assumptions about identity and markers of identity.
