Broken Narratives reflects the fragmented, yet rich stories adoptees carry by exploring adoption's intricate realities through the creative practices of Caitlin Rose Donnelly and Victoria McIntosh. Adoption highlights unique and shared challenges. Through themes of identity, belonging, and self-discovery, Broken Narratives uses diverse artistic media to portray adoption's complex and emotional landscapes.

Please join us for a thoughtful artist kōrero exploring the key themes in our new exhibition Broken Narratives. The kā rikatoi (artists), Caitlin Rose Donnelly and Victoria McIntosh will be joined by a leading academic scholar of Māori and Public Health in Aotearoa and Associate Professor from the University of Canterbury Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha, Dr Annabel Ahuriri-Driscoll.
